I'm Justine, the artist behind Blush Handmade Jewels.
Seriously, it feels like just yesterday I packed my bags in Belgium and landed here in sunny Sydney. Two years later, and I can't imagine calling anywhere else home!
This place is just bursting with inspiration, and it's where my jewellery dream took root. I find inspiration in everything – the way the light hits the ocean, the colours in a sunset, the textures in the sand dunes… it's like nature is whispering little secrets, and I try to capture them in my rings.
I’ve always loved making things! As a kid, it was all about beads and making bracelets for my friends. Now, it's gemstones, and honestly, it's like playing with magic. Each stone has its own personality, and I love finding the perfect one for each piece.
I've always been surrounded by creative people, so it felt natural to explore my own artistic side. Learning the ropes of jewellery making here in Sydney was like falling in love! I love that every piece I create is totally unique, made by me, and meant to be loved by you for a lifetime.
